Our Managed Services offering is aimed at providing you with an integrated solution that is tailored to your specific requirements.
We can build, own and
operate a specific business function for your company under a contract service agreement. These service contracts specify your needs and scope of service
including required levels of service.
Typically the business functions are not part of the client’s core business and the client is looking for a service
provider who understands the issues, technology and operation of the service. Where the service to the client requires, Consultel will build the systems,
recruit and train the staff and fully manage the service.
Consultel has an excellent track record and capability to deliver contract services within the
IT&T industry. Our professional services business provides the intellectual property needed to design, build and operate the managed service solution
for the client.
Managed services that have been provided by
Consultel include:
- Fully Outsourced Contact Centre Services
Consultel established a customer care centre for a second tier carrier client. Consultel provided the telephone
system (ACD), IT equipment and applications, office space, office furniture, all staff and call centre manager, all
staff training, full weekly and monthly reporting to the client and all contact with the client’s customers;
- Contact Centre staff
Consultel currently provide call centre staff under contract to a
leading tier one telecommunications carrier. The contract has been in operation for over 8 years and is still current;
- Radio and TV RF Interference Investigations
Consultel has provided an RF interference service to
Powercor, a leading Victorian power distribution company. Powercor’s network services the western half of the state and sometimes their customers complain of RF interference to their radio
and/or television reception. These complaints are redirected by Powercor to Consultel and we investigate these complaints to independently assess whether the RF interference is due to Powercor’s power line infrastructure or whether it is due to
other factors including customer related factors such as thermostat switching in refrigerators, home welding, etc;
- National Technology Advisory Service For SMEs
The Federal Government wanted to establish a national technology
advisory service for small to medium companies. They issued a request for tender including the full scope of their needs and Consultel was the successful bidder.
Consultel then designed, built, branded, promoted and operated the new service to assist Australian SMEs with technology problems and issues with the flow on
effect of helping them to become more productive and competitive in local and overseas markets. Consultel met all milestones set by the government and the service was
considered very successful by all concerned. The contract ran for four years;

- IT Services
Consultel has provided IT services to a number of small to medium companies in the past few years. These services usually
include infrastructure and application support.
