Peter Drill
Chief Executive Officer
Peter was appointed CEO of Consultel from in December 1999. Prior to this appointment, Peter was responsible for arranging,
coordination and finalising the Sale of Consultel Australia and the managed services business to Nomad.
Since joining Consultel in 1999 Peter has been instrumental in positioning Consultel as a provider of professional and
recruitment services to the ICT sector.
Peters primary focus on management of key commercial arrangements, driving growth within Consultel, combined with the
establishment of key corporate and government customers has enabled Consultel to become a leader in the provision of
professional services to the ICT sector.
Peter joined Consultel from Select Harvest Limited, where he was Company Secretary and provided commercial and strategic
analysis across the business. He also gained extensive experience within the industry during a five-year career with Ernst
and Young.
Peter has a Bachelor of Business from Swinburne University of Technology, a Graduate Diploma in Accounting from Swinburne
University of Technology, is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a member of the CEO institute.
Graeme Leigh
Director
An experienced telecommunications professional, Graeme is responsible for customer solutions and consulting at Consultel. A
founding member of Consultel, Graeme has a strong blend of technical and commercial experience with more than 30 years in the
telecommunications industry spanning various technology and management roles.
His ability to communicate well with business people, to understand their needs, plans and problems and to translate these
into valid business solutions has enabled him to excel as a consultant
Graeme holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) from Victoria University and a Graduate Diploma in Communications
Systems. A Certified Practicing Engineer, Graeme is a member of the Institute of Engineers and a member of Victoria
University Faculty of Engineering and Science Advisory Committee for the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Degree.
James Facey
Associate Director
With a career spanning more than 35 years Jim’s experience includes various technical, engineering and executive
management positions and a number of different roles at General Manager and Managing Director levels. He has held
senior positions in sales, marketing and customer service, and has regularly been responsible for complex technical
expert teams delivering results in a competent and timely manner.
Jim has been an executive manager since 1982 primarily in Telstra and the State Electricity Commission leading its
marketing team into its privatisation in early 1990’s.
Jim left Telstra in 2005 and joined Consultel in 2006. He has been working predominately in Western Australia where
he has been assisting the WA government.
Julie Jenkins
National Resource Manager
Julie is an experienced Consultant and Business Development Manager whose 20 years industry experience has
been gained within the Recruitment, Advertising, Banking and Finance sectors.
As a historical over achiever, Julie has forged successful business relationships including both Commercial
and Preferred Supplier Agreements. Her skills include: Strategic Planning, Staff Management / Development,
Change Management, Operational experience and a proven success in Recruitment. Her recruitment methodology
includes gaining a thorough understanding of the fundamentals of her client’s business and specific role
requirements. Julie’s business proficiency is a reflection on her ability to build rapport with both her
client and the candidate. This is further illustrated through her intuition and aptitude to obtain the right
skill set and cultural fit. She is passionate about sourcing the right staff for her clients.
Prior to joining Consultel; Julie excelled in Senior Consulting and Business Development recruitment roles
with Robert Walters (London) and Jonathan Wren (a part of the Adecco group, Sydney). Her industry experience
includes IT&T, Banking & Finance, Help Desks, Call Centers / Service Desks, Customer Service, Administration
and Advertising.
Julie holds a Bachelor of Arts with majors in Psychology and Sociology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Humanities
with majors in Psychology and Sociology (Armidale, NSW).
