Operating Since 1984
Consultel was established in 1984 and has
progressively expanded its services across a range of capabilities.
The company is now one of Australia's largest and most experienced
independent specialist providers of telecommunications and
information technology design services and directly employs over 50
highly specialised technical staff.
Consultel is an Industry leader and has the unique pedigree of
having assisted clients, large and small, to develop strategies that

solutions during a period in Australia’s history when the rate of

Gulf Co-operation Council from its Office in Abu Dhabi and the Asia

The company has operated in over twenty
countries throughout Asia Pacific and the Middle East region. The
major emphasis of this expansion began in the late 1990’s and
Consultel has enjoyed continual overseas presence in Asia Pacific

Front End Engineering Design (FEED)
High Level design, needs analysis and consultancy are part of our
core expertise and activities where we assist our clients with developing and defining their
telecommunication and ICT requirements and establishing the criteria of achieving these
requirements.
Detailed Engineering Design
As a turnkey Telecommunication and ICT Infrastructure integrator,
the detailed low level
engineering design is the core of our work and deliverables to the
client. Our projects are
engineered to provide every specific detail related to the project
in terms of drawings, design
reports and design calculations. Each project is assigned an engineering design team with highly
skilled
internal and external telecommunication design engineers and ICT professionals. To
support the design team, a
dedicated CAD/CAM team is established and equipped with CAD/CAM
software and
workstations to produce the design drawings in accordance to the
client standards.
Project Management
Project management is a key activity to achieve a successful
project. Consultel has a dedicated
team of experienced project management professionals. Each project is assigned a project
director and a project manager who together handle project
scheduling, budgeting, and
coordination with the client and with other teams involved in the
project.
Procurement
Procurement of equipment and hardware is sourced worldwide via our
pre-qualified vendors and
based on the customer specifications and final engineering design
work.
System Integration
Depending on the assignment, Consultel can provide all necessary
staging and equipment to assemble, pre-wire and integrate the systems based on the approved
engineering design drawings by our client. In addition, Consultel is fully capable to
stage full scale Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and System Integration Tests (SIT) to be
witnessed by our client prior to the shipment of the equipment to project site.
Installation and Commissioning
As part of our turnkey project responsibilities,
Consultel has an established methodology, which handles all on-site
installation and commissioning activities. Our technical team is
highly skilled and motivated, and well accustomed to the nature and
the environment of all major business industries and sectors.
Maintenance and Warranty
To ensure continuous operation of your systems Consultel can provide
a tailored maintenance and support program.
Associations and Memberships
Consultel is a member of ATUG, The Australian Telecommunications Users Group. ATUG has been the premier voice for business users
of information organisation in Australia to provide: an independent, end-user voice to Government, Industry, Regulators and Media on policy and service
issues that affect business end users of communications services, and to provide well researched information and good networking opportunities for members.
APUG SMS is the central supplier information system used by
Utilities in the Asia Pacific region to source and
select suppliers and contractors. By centralising the process of supplier registration, APUG SMS reduces costs, time and
administrative workload for buyers. Consultel is a registered supplier of ICT services to APUG members.
